Stock Command

Stock Command is a remake of the old game Missile Command, but there are a few variations. First of all, the stocks (missiles) don't just move linearly, but can jolt around. There are three defense turrets and a few 'funds' at the bottom for you to defend as well.

Texas Hold'em

Apple released a Texas Hold'em application that has most console gambling games blown out of the water. The game is fast-paced and you can have a 'table view', which shows each person play-by-play. The characters are almost realistic and the playing system is intuitive.

Dactyl

Dactyl is a fast-paced game created by Mauvila Software that involved quickly defusing bombs in a specific order as they're ignited one-by-one. As you extinguish more fuses, the rate increases and so the game progresses until you miss a fuse or choose the wrong bomb.

Aurora Feint: The Beginning

Aurora Feint is an RPG puzzle game in which players arrange blocks in sets of three in order to break them (called 'mining'). The game is set in a young girl's imaginary world, created in order to escape normal life.

MotionX Poker Dice

MotionX released a poker game for the iPhone which is the equivalent of 5-card draw, but they did it with dice.

3-D Vector Pong

When most people think of "Pong", they think of the lo-tech, 2 dimensional arcade game by Atari from 1972. 3-D Vector Pong by Gyrocade is essentially the same game, but with a very modern, 3-D twist, adapted to the sophisticated technology of the iPhone and iPod touch.
