Google's planned launch of their voice search app for the iPhone this weekend didn't happen as promised, causing speculation that Apple may have put a stop to it themselves. We waited all weekend to see it, but it was a no-show. Google even took down the demo video from YouTube.

Rumors are circulating the net that Google is planning to release a free voice search app for the iPhone, possibly some time later today.

German Subway App Pulled Due To Copyright Infringement

21 year old German programmer has created a cool native app for planning trips in Berlin. The app used GPS and a map of Berlin's subway system to show you where the nearest subway station is. Earlier this month, however, Apple temporarily removed the app from the App Store at the request of BVG, Berlin's subway operator.

Apple has begun airing the latest in their series of iPhone TV advertisements. The new ad, titled "Dilemmas", focuses on using the iPhone for "solving life's dilemmas," by demonstrating various apps available in the App Store. ZodTTD Submits Quake Port For iPhone To App Store For Approval

Several months ago, we saw Quake 3 running on a pair of iPod touches, and then later ZodTTD got Quake running on the iPhone. Since then, Cameron and Marcia Tofer of Hermitworks, the duo responsible for the Quake 3 port, announced that the project wasn't to be released. Unlike them, however, ZodTTD is now attempting to submit his Quake port over to the iPhone to the App Store for approval.
